develops gradually, going from 2,400m in Arequipa to
the 3,900m in Puno, passing the 3,400m. in Cusco.
Our proposal:
1st Day:
Arrival to Lima.
2nd and 3rd Day:
Excursion to the Ecological Reserve of Paracas and Ballestas
Islands, inhabited by a huge number of birds and marine
mammal species. Flight over Nazca lines and visit to
the Antonini Museum. Retun to Lima.
4th Day:
Flight to Arequipa. Visit the colonial city and Santa
Catalina's convent.
5th Day:
Bus trip through highlands to Puno.
6th Day:
Excursion over the highest navigable lake of the world:
the Titicaca and visit to the Necropolis of Sillustani.
7th Day:
Bus trip among the Andean valleys toward Cusco.
8th Day:
Visit to Cusco city and the surrounding temples.
9th Day:
Excursion to the fabulous Lost City of the Incas: Machu
Picchu.
10th Day:
Return to Lima and visit to the colonial and modern
and the National and Archeological Museum.
