1st & 2nd Day
Lima / Cusco
Transfers to/from the airport in Cusco, in the afternoon
visit to the craftsmen quarter of San Blas, Hatunrumiyoc
street built at Incas time, the Sun Temple, the Cathedral
and visit to the nearby ruins as Kenko, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay
and Sacsayhuaman Fortress built with enormous stones.
In the second day, River rafting at Urubamba River with
professional guides. Lunch included
3rd Day
Cusco / Chilca / Wayllabamba
Breakfast. Early morning transfer in bus to Chilca (2500
masl) meeting with the porters that will be waiting to
start the trek. With a spectacular view of “La Verónica”
mountain and the company of the Urubamba river we will
arrive to Llactapata, then we will arrive to the narrow
valley of Kusichaca until Wayllabamba Andean town (2800
masl). First camping to spend the night. Lunch and dinner
included.
4th Day
Wayllabamba / Runkurakay
Breakfast. We will cross the Warmihuaynusca pass at 4050
mts, from where we will have a great view of the mountains
with perpetual snow. Then we will Reach Runkurakay for
a second camping night. All meals included.
5th Day
Runkurakay / Wiñaywayna
Breakfast. Trek to the archeological ruins of Sayaqmarca.
After we will continue to Phuyupatamarca “The City
under the Clouds”. Then we will Climb 2500 steps
to arrive to the impressive ruins of Wiñayhuayna
for the third and last camping night. All meals included.
6th Day
Wiñaywayna / Machu Pichu / Cusco
Breakfast. We will arrive to Intipunku “the Sun
Door” with an impressive view from the heights of
the Inca city of Machu Picchu, then we will descent to
the ruins and there we will have a guided visit of all
its sectors. In the afternoon we will return to Cusco
city by train.
7th Day
Cusco / Lima
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. |
