this funeral tombs or Chullpas of Sillustani are
cylindrical constructions with ceremonial motives
that can reach 12 meters of height or more,
they challenge gravity with much smaller diameter
on their bases than on their tops. |

artificial floating islands are built with totora
reed and are occupied by Indians who still keep
their ancient traditions. The Uros are a very
ancient ethnic group that emigrated from the
firm-land in order to avoid their own extermination. |
